Junior Assembly and last day of term!

Today we shared our tricky riddles and symmetrical shape art. We showed the flying fish too. Tyler and Eliza used the microphone to introduce our assembly and they did a great job!

We had lots of fun and we finished with some jump jam. Have a great  spring holiday everyone!

Lots of Maths Fun!

Yay! Room 11 is learning geometry. We know lots of shapes and we can also make patterns that are symmetrical. Beanie is our student from University.

She is helping us to try tessellations too.

Here are some of our patterns we have made with no gaps!

Flying Fish and Football Fun!

We read a book about the flying fish which was a kite. Beanie worked with us to make our own. We love them!

Today room 11 got to have a go at football. There was a blow up field. We had lots of turns dribbling the ball and stopping quickly. We were in different teams and we played with a goalie too.

Cross Country Fun!

We had a lot of training for the Cross Country and we all got so fit. When the day came it was so exciting. We warmed up and the waited for"GO". We ran as fast as we could and even if we fell over we knew to get up and keep going. Sisley came second out of all the year one girls. She is speedy!

The parents cheers so loudly and we had such a great day. Thank you Mr King and all the parents who helped.
